Layer 1 — Digital Immobilisation
Autowatch Ghost II CAN Bus Immobiliser
The Ghost immobiliser connects directly to the vehicle’s CAN network and prevents the engine from starting until a unique PIN code sequence is entered using the vehicle’s factory buttons (such as steering wheel or console controls).
Key benefits:
- Protects against relay attacks and key cloning
- No remotes or radio signals to intercept
- Completely hidden installation
- Uses the vehicle’s original buttons for secure PIN entry
Without the correct PIN sequence, the vehicle cannot be started or driven.
Layer 2 — Anti-Tamper Audible Deterrent
An anti-tamper siren can be installed to add a visible and audible deterrent.
If the ignition is turned on and the correct PIN code has not been entered, the siren will typically activate after approximately 30 seconds, drawing attention to unauthorised access attempts.
This layer helps:
- discourage opportunistic thieves
- alert nearby people
- create pressure for the thief to abandon the vehicle
Layer 3 — Vehicle Tracking & Recovery
